A regular visit keeps a good standard; a deep clean creates one. On top of the full standard clean, we work through:
- Inside kitchen cupboards and drawers, emptied and wiped
- Oven, hob and extractor interiors degreased; fridge and freezer cleaned
- Descaling of taps, shower heads, screens and sanitaryware
- Tile and grout scrubbed back to colour
- Skirting, architraves, doors, frames and switch plates washed
- Under and behind furniture and appliances, where access allows

- Light fittings, lampshades, vents and the tops of everything
Then the sensible next question: how do you keep it there? For homes, regular housekeeping holds the new standard from day one. For lets, our changeover service does the same between guests.
Practicalities
How long it takes, and what we need from you
Most homes take a full day with two of us working to a written room-by-room plan. A compact flat can be less; a large farmhouse, or a property that has been empty a while, can run to a second day. We agree the scope and the time with the quote, so there are no surprises on the day and no corners quietly skipped to fit a slot.
From you we need working power and hot water, somewhere to park, and the rooms as clear of clutter as is reasonable — we clean around belongings happily, but a deep clean bites hardest on clear surfaces. You are welcome to be there, and just as welcome to hand us a key and see the photos when we are done.

Asked before almost every reset
How long does a deep clean take?
Most homes take a full day with two of us; a compact flat can be shorter, and a large or long-neglected property may run to a second day. We tell you the plan with the quote, and we would rather book more time than rush the corners a deep clean exists for.
Do I need to be there while you work?
No. Many clients let us in and head out, or give us access through a key safe or a documented keyholding arrangement. We confirm with photos when we finish, so you see the result even if you are back after dark.
What products and equipment do you use?
We bring everything, including the descalers, degreasers and oven products a deep clean actually needs, and we match the product to the surface — stone, slate, oiled wood and enamel all get treated differently. If your home is strictly eco or fragrance-free, say so and we will work to it.
Is a deep clean a one-off, or the start of something regular?
Either. Some properties just need the reset. But a deep clean is also the best possible first visit for regular housekeeping or holiday-let changeovers, because every visit after it is maintaining a known standard rather than chasing an old one. There is no obligation to continue.
Can you clean after building work?
Yes. Post-build cleans are their own discipline: fine plaster dust settles for days and needs methodical top-down work, sometimes over two visits a few days apart. We are honest about that in the quote rather than promising one miracle pass. Builders should have removed debris and their own materials first.
