What we do

Considered cleaning, for the way you actually live and let

From same-day Airbnb changeovers to recurring commercial contracts and the quiet reliability of a weekly housekeeper — every service is delivered by a small, trusted team who treat your property as their own.

Why owners trust us

Most cleaning is invisible. Ours is accountable.

Anyone can quote you an hourly rate. What that number never tells you is whether the shower screen will be spotless, whether the damage from the last guest was reported, or whether the same trusted person will turn up next week. We built Beacon Valley Housekeeping around the things that actually matter to a property owner who cannot be there to check.

  • Photos after every clean. You see the finished rooms — not a promise that it was done.
  • The same faces. A small, settled team who learn your property and your standards.
  • Fully insured & DBS-checked. Paperwork ready for property managers and letting agents.
  • Discretion as standard. Keyholding, key safes and quiet, respectful work in occupied homes.
  • We report, we restock, we flag. Damage, breakages and low consumables never come as a surprise to a guest.

The growth engine

Changeover cleaning built for hosts who live two hours away

Bannau Brycheiniog is thick with holiday cottages, barn conversions and shepherd's huts — and almost none of their owners live locally. If you host in the upper Swansea Valley — anywhere from the national park down to Pontardawe — you need someone on the ground who understands a booking calendar, handles a same-day back-to-back, and sends you the photos that stop a five-star review turning into "there was hair in the shower".

That is exactly what we do. Beds freshly made with our hotel-quality hire linen — or your own, washed at the property — consumables restocked, damage reported before your next guest arrives, and a keyholding arrangement so you never post a key through a door again.

Where we work · Ardaloedd rydym yn eu gwasanaethu

From the head of the valley to the edge of the Beacons

We are based in Pen-y-cae, which puts most of the upper Tawe and Swansea valleys within our standard travel radius. Towns further out — Brecon, Neath, Swansea and beyond — are covered too, with a travel supplement that we always tell you about up front. No surprises, no penalty framing: we simply travel further for properties that need us, and we price it transparently.

Good questions

The things owners ask us first

Which areas do you cover, and how does travel pricing work?

We work outward from Pen-y-cae in four zones. Zones A and B — Ystradgynlais, Abercrave, Ystalyfera, Pontardawe, Glynneath, Ammanford, Sennybridge and the villages between — are charged at our standard rates. Zone C, which includes Brecon, Neath and Swansea, is charged at standard rates plus a transparent travel supplement. Anything beyond 25 miles is priced individually by arrangement. You will always know the travel cost before we start.

Are you fully insured and DBS-checked?

Yes. We carry full public liability insurance and every member of the team is DBS-checked. Property managers and letting agents are welcome to request our certificate, method statements and RAMS before a contract begins.

Do you bring your own products, or use ours?

Either. As standard we bring our own products and equipment. Many holiday-let owners and households prefer us to use particular eco or fragrance-free products kept on site — we are happy to do that and to flag when consumables are running low so you can restock.

Can you handle a same-day changeover?

Yes — same-day back-to-back changeovers are the heart of what we do for holiday lets. We work to your check-out and check-in times, send photo confirmation once the property is guest-ready, and let you know immediately if anything needs your attention before the next arrival.

Do you publish your prices?

No — every property is quoted individually, in writing, before we start. Two homes of the same size can be entirely different jobs, and a fixed rate card either overcharges one or rushes the other. Send your postcode and a few details and you will have an honest written quote within one working day, with travel included and nothing added later. The cheapest quote is rarely the one that protects your reviews or your deposit.
