We are a small local business, and we treat your information the way we treat your home: carefully, and without sharing it around. This notice explains, in plain English, what we collect and why.

Who we are
Beacon Valley Housekeeping is a cleaning and housekeeping business based in Pen-y-cae, Powys, SA9. For anything relating to your personal data, contact us at [EMAIL]. We are the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect
- Enquiry details — your name, phone number, email address, postcode and anything you tell us about your property when you use our quote form, call or email.
- Client records — the property address, access arrangements, cleaning specification, visit notes and invoicing history for properties we look after.
- Keys and access information — where we hold a key or a code for you, we record what we hold and where it is stored.
- Photographs of completed work — the photo reports we send after each clean.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, to schedule and deliver the service you have asked for, to send you photo reports, and to invoice you. That is the whole list. We do not build marketing profiles and we do not sell data to anyone.
Our lawful bases
Under UK GDPR we rely on contract (delivering the service you have engaged us for), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running the business in ways you would reasonably expect) and, where it ever applies, consent — we would only send marketing with your clear agreement, which you could withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
No one, except the service providers who process data on our behalf — such as the company that handles our website form and our email provider. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes. We never sell, rent or swap your details.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months.
- Client records are kept for the length of our working relationship, and invoicing records for as long as tax law requires after it ends.
Photographs
Our photo reports show your property, not people. They exist to show you the work has been done and to record any damage we find. We do not publish photographs of a client's property anywhere without written permission.
Keys and access details
Held keys are logged, identified by a code rather than an address, and stored securely. Access codes and alarm details are recorded the same way and shared only with the team members who clean your property.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking cookies. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no third-party embed watching you read this page. Anything strictly essential to serving the site is the full extent of it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to or restrict our use of it. Email [EMAIL] and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
